Update with several improvements and optimizations.

The internal password storage has been replaced. With this program version, the internal storage of passwords has been changed. For security reasons, previously saved passwords cannot be automatically transferred to the new storage format.

Please re-enter the stored passwords for ICP, SSH, SMTP, TCP, FTP, UNC, and POP once after the update and save the respective settings again.

The passwords themselves do not need to be changed. It is only required to re-enter them so that they are saved in the new format.

Switch to the new version of Z-Cron

A new license key is required to switch from Z-Cron 5.xx to version 6.0, which registered users can order online for a small fee.

Z-Con Version 5.xx

Version 5 of Z-Cron remains fully functional even without an update, but we are no longer developing it! After the update to version 4, version 6 is the second paid update, which in more than 20 years of Z-Cron should help us to ensure further development and program maintenance.

Upgrade Policy - Updates

The updates for our Z-Software are not chargeable and are made available free of charge for the current major release via the intrigued live update. This applies equally to all Z-Programs. Old major releases are no longer available for subsequent download and are no longer in our download area.

Upgrades, i.e. changing to a new major release (main version) – e.g. changing from version 5 to version 6 – are subject to a fee. However, we grant our users who only purchased their license shortly (3 months) before a release change a free change to the current version of the licensed software.
