After you have set up a medium, you can start the back-up. The program will first compile the dump (list of files)
and commences to create the tape archive. The progress bars show the status of the process. You can abort it at any time by clicking the "Abort" button. After back-up, the program verifies the saved data, i.e. the tape is set to the start position and the data on the tape is checked for errors.
You can use Z-TapeBackup to back-up your whole hard disk. However, you will NOT be able to restore an installed operating system. Use programs which create disk images for this!
