With these settings, a UNC drive can be connected before executing a Z-Cron job. The connection will be closed again after the job has been executed.
Windows system services do not have access to the drive mappings of a logged-on user. Services, and therefore Z-Cron as well, do not know these network drives because they are only created when a user logs on. For a Windows service, they simply do not exist.
If an application started by Z-Cron needs to access a network drive, you can use these settings to make the required drive available.
