 The Cleware USB-Switch-3 controlled by Z-Cron switches devices operated at 230 V on and off. The maximum current is 16 A, with a maximum rated load of 3,500 W AC1 (non-inductive load). The single-phase motor rating is 550 W. Please contact the dealer or manufacturer of the device to be switched for more information.
The USB switch should only be used indoors and must be protected against humidity. The permitted operating temperature range is 10 °C to 60 °C.
Z-Cron can use the Cleware USB-Switch-3 as a timer. Different repeat intervals, start times and end times can be specified. In theory, up to 127 switches can be connected to one PC by using several USB hubs. The USB hubs require a separate power supply.
No additional device drivers are required when using the Cleware USB-Switch-3. The existing Windows USB drivers are sufficient. This helps to keep the system stable.
Usage
Enter the unique serial number of the USB switch in the parameter field. The options Switch 1 to 4 control the power state of the corresponding power socket. In the example above, power sockets 1 and 2 are switched on, and power sockets 3 and 4 are switched off.
