Load FTP Server at Z-Cron Service start
With this setting (recommended) you specify that the FTP server with the start of the Z-Cron service is started automatically. You can run the server with the following Schedule Z-Cron commands
•FTP-START
•FTP-STOP
•FTP-RESTART
IP address, protocol and port
The IP address of the local computer is already selected. The port is also already entered for the FTP protocol. For access from the Internet, you should select the SFTP protocol and choose any port from the 5000 to 7000 range. Please do not forget to store your TCP port settings in the Windows Firewall.
Timeout
Idle time to one connection is automatically disconnected. The default is 60 seconds.
Max connections
With this setting you limit the Number of maximum connections to your server. Choose a value here which corresponds to the number of your configured FTP/SFTP users +1.
Failban
The Failban option (meaning failure leads to a ban) offers simple but very effective protection against unauthorized login attempts. Check the list of blocked IP numbers from time to time.
Hint If you are unable to connect to Z-Cron's FTP Server module, this may be due to the Windows firewall. To fix this problem, open Windows Defender Firewall settings. You can there Set up Z-Cron Server as an exception or the TCP port you selected release.
